Interpretation of a dream According to the narration of Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood, the Holy Prophet (sws) said:
That is, dreams are of three kinds.
1. Glad tidings from the Almighty to the believers.
2. From the devil for the believers.
3. There are disturbing thoughts.
Jaber Maghribi has said that one of the wonders of a dream is that a dream appears in a dream of one person and its interpretation is based on his son or brother. So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) dreamed that Abu Jahl had become a Muslim. However, after that, the sons of Ikrima Abu Jahl converted to Islam.
A man saw in a dream that Asad Amir had converted to Islam in Mecca. However, after that the sons of Abbas bin Asad converted to Islam.
It also happens that the interpretation of the child's dream falls on the mother and the interpretation of the slave's dream falls on the master. There are many such wonders in dreams.
The difference between dreaming and interpretation.
It is important to keep in mind that there is a difference between dreaming and its interpretation. Therefore, what is seen in a dream requires interpretation. Whether the instruction of the Holy Prophet (sws) is esteemed or any other view, it does not mean exactly the same thing but it means something else. Therefore, the scene seen or heard in a dream is always interpreted, which is called interpretation in the term. Therefore, the words that are uttered or seen in a dream are interpreted by those who are honest and trustworthy. No one has ever issued a fatwa of arrogance and rudeness on the basis of outward words and appearance.
Whenever Hazrat Imam Azam Abu Hanifa (RA) had a dream, he would ask his teacher, Imam Ibn Sirin (RA), one of the followers of Ajal Tabein, to interpret it.
Dream: Separation of a part of the Holy Body of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
Interpretation: Birth and upbringing of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA)
The differences between dreams and interpretations are first seen in the Holy Hadith.
In Mushkoot Sharif: Hazrat Umm Fazl (RA) who is the aunt of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the wife of Hazrat Abbas (PBUH) came to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and asked The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)! I have a dream, very worried. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Have you had a dream? She said, "I saw in a dream that a part of the blessed body of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had come apart and landed on my lap. I am worried that a part of the body of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) has come apart."
Upon hearing this dream, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) congratulated him and said: The meaning of this is that my daughter Fatima will have a son who will play in your lap.Hazrat Hussain(RA) was born.
In the above-mentioned hadith, I saw in a dream the part of the blessed body apparently disintegrating, which is disturbing, but the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) interpreted it to mean that my son will be born.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
(Hussein is from me and I am from Hussein).
Therefore, when Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) was born, he was brought up in the lap of Hazrat Umm Fazl (RA). It is clear from this hadith that imposing a fatwa on the outward words issued in a dream is cruelty and utter ignorance.
Dream: The roof collapses
Interpretation: Return and death of the husband
It is narrated in that a woman came to the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and narrated her dream and said:
Allah (swt) said, "Your husband has gone on a journey and he will return." I saw that the roof was about to collapse, but the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) explained something else.
After the demise of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), the same woman had the same dream again. She came to the service of Hazrat Siddiq Akbar (may Allaah be pleased with her).
Hazrat Abu Bakar(RA) said your husband died, so her husband died.
It is noteworthy that the breaking of the dream roof and the interpretation of the return of the husband from the journey, there is no connection between them. The dream is something else while the interpretation is something else. How dishonest it is for a person not to know and understand the art of dreams and the interpretation of dreams, and not even to know its alphabet. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) should not be ashamed of his relationship with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
This is a great injustice, even though many books of the forefathers and great men are full of the art of dreaming and interpretation.
